POLICIES

Event Parking:
We ask that all participants follow parking signs, and only park in the designated area.
Facilities:
Bakkers Trailblazers will be providing portable toilets if there are not any on site. We ask that participants use them, and not the grounds. Failure to do so will result in 1 warning and expulsion of participants for a second offence. No refund will be offered.

Refund policy:

Participants who wish to withdraw from an event must do so prior to the close of registration to be eligible for a refund. Once registration has closed, refunds will no longer be available.

All approved refunds are subject to a non-refundable processing fee.

Participants who withdraw from an event on race day are not eligible for a refund.

Bakkers Trailblazers reserves the right to issue refunds, credits, or other accommodations in rare and exceptional circumstances at its discretion.

Inclement Weather:
All races will be held rain or shine. In the event of thunder and lightning, race starts may be delayed until conditions are deemed safe. If severe or dangerous conditions exist, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, extreme weather, or poor air quality, or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, Bakkers Trailblazers reserves the right to cancel the event. Any decision to cancel will be made as early as reasonably possible, and no later than two (2) hours prior to the first scheduled race start.

Timing Chip Pickup:
Timing chips will be provided , and will be available for pick-up on-site, prior to the event. Please allow yourself time to pickup the chip before start time. Each rider will be awarded a number plate valid for the complete season. Timing will be provided by Allan Hawley. Each participant will be given a number with a timing chip. The timing chip should be securely fastened to the handlebars using zip ties. At registration, the rider must present a valid license. Participants are responsible for keeping the timing chip for the entire series, a fee of $5 will be charged for a new plate with the same number.

Stationnement :

Veuillez noter que l’entrée du stationnement est celle de Kanata Nordic : https://maps.app.goo.gl/uUHJ8KhN7LLSuvwM7. Nous aurons des drapeaux installés le long du chemin Corkstown pour vous indiquer l’entrée. Veuillez suivre les indications du préposé au stationnement.

Une fois stationné dans cette zone, vous devrez suivre les flèches rouges à travers le terrain de camping, puis dans la forêt derrière celui-ci, où se trouve le départ. Il faut compter environ 10 à 15 minutes à pied et 5 minutes à vélo entre le stationnement et le départ. Prévoyez donc suffisamment de temps pour vous y rendre.

Il n’y a PAS de toilettes près du départ. Les toilettes portatives se trouvent dans le stationnement. Veuillez donc aller aux toilettes avant de vous rendre à la zone de départ.
