CAN SPECTATORS ATTEND THE RACES?
Yes, we strongly encourage anybody interested in spectating and encouraging racers, to come visit us at the Wesley Clover Parks race course. Spectators are encouraged to go to the start/finish line area, where Whiprsnapr Brewery will be hosting a beer garden (and also serving non-alcoholic beverages). Spectators are also welcome to make their way to some of the more exciting race features of the course (Hell Climb, Leap of Faith). We would ask that spectators avoid using the trails used for the races during the races as cyclists will be riding at high speeds. There are various other trails available to navigate the grounds during the race. There are no fees for spectators
WHILE CAMPING AT WESLEY CLOVER PARKS, CAN I RIDE THE TRAILS
Yes. Anybody can ride the trails during the week (Monday to Friday) after 330pm as the Andrew Fleck Forest and Nature run daytime programs on the grounds. No riding is permitted before 330pm. Trails are open on weekends. Riders must use caution as some of the trails require advance bike handling skills. We would ask that trails not be altered from their current state as they are purposely built to accommodate mountain bike races. Bakker's Trailblazers will provide maps of the racing and walking trails shortly.
WHILE CAMPING, SHOULD I WORRY ABOUT NOISE?
On event night, there will be a moderate amount of cyclist traffic commuting from the parking lot to the start finish line. All event guests will be reminded to keep the noise levels down in the vicinity of the camp sites. The courses are primarily far away from the camp sites, where the buzz of bike hubs will not be audible. The start/finish line area will be the busiest, but located 400m from the nearest camping site, sheltered by the dense forest.
