FAQ'S

WHAT DO I NEED FOR MOUNTAIN BIKE CAMP?

All campers should have a fully tuned and operational mountain bike.  It should have handbrakes, a water bottle holder, a spare inner tube and a water bottle. Sunscreen, bug spray, gloves, helmet and glasses if possible.  The best investment for your camper is a camlebak.  That way they have lots of water to ride all day and carry their snacks and spare inner tube.

ARE THE MOUNTAIN BIKES STORED ON SITE?

Yes, all the mountain bikes are stored in a secured location.

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR TO CAMP?

Your child should be dressed for the weather of the day.  In general, shorts, a comfortable T-shirt and socks are ideal.  Always have a spare set of clothes, towel and shoes at camp just in case it rains.

HOW DO I CONTACT MY CHILD AT CAMP?

Call the contact number and we will be able to get a hold of your child as all of our instructors carry cell phones with them.

WHAT SNACKS SHOULD I PACK?

Any snack will do, but it should be easily carried.

DO YOU RIDE IN THE RAIN?

Yes.  Our experience has been the campers have the best fun riding in the rain.  In case of lightning, we will go inside until it passes.  Remember to bring an extra set of clothes, towel and shoes.
